Story

Social Place provides diners a chic, vibrant, cozy dining venue. It offers a range of traditional Chinese dim-sum dishes with a modern twist using fresh and quality ingredients. One of its signature dishes is the roasted white king pigeon, which is a must-order “Chinese famous dish” well-loved by customers from all over the world and has won countless awards. The brand gained more than 130 media coverages every year.

Strategy - Handmade Flower Mooncakes

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, we executed the launching of Handmade Flower Mooncakes in terms of mooncake design, manufacturing, launching, e-commerce, and redeeming. The flower-shaped mooncakes with innovative flavors and combinations attracted consumers to share on social media, which drove sales for the Social Place.

Strategy - DIY Charcoal Custard Buns

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the company listing and Easter simultaneously, we executed the “Make Your Own Bun” activity in the Social Place. The customers were invited to customize their bun after ordering the Charcoal Custard Buns, which attracted them to share their unique works on social media with hashtags. It successfully drove sales for the Social Place and engaged people on social media. Meanwhile, the campaign drove the curiosity of the media to visit which led to the rise of the media coverage of the Social Place.

Strategy - Product Launch

We created the Piggy Shaped Strawberry & Yogurt Pudding, with a cute pink piglet shape, sweet, and full of elasticity. We executed the launching in terms of proposing, designing the mold of pudding, launching, and media pitching. The pudding engaged customers checking in the Social Place and sharing the product on social media, which effectively raised awareness. We drove large engagement in the media. It gained more than 7,000 likes and 2,000 comments on the social platforms  of Weekend HK and New Monday.

Strategy - Branch Opening

To expand their business, Social Place opened a new store in New Town Plaza at Shatin. We executed and planned the Branch Opening Event by delivering creative ideas and handling the event management. For instance, we have set up a YES! Card machines , and different signature dishes-shaped gadgets as promotional gimmicks, including Fuchiko, cup lid, and key chain, successfully drew the attention of customers consuming in the Social Place.
